Sportsmanship and Academics are the core requirements for all San Mateo Fast Break players. Getting it done in the classroom is more important than getting it done on the court. We ask our players to volunteer 3-5 hours throughout the season to tutoring younger kids at the Mid Peninsula Boys & Girls Club with homework. Our players must show proof of a 2.5 GPA or higher and passing of all the classes. We teach our players and parents to honor the game. Honoring the game is the respect for the rules, officials, opponents, teammates, and self.
